A working day. A record that makes sense.
Clock in, check the month, and put corrections in the right hands. Keep daily attendance clear for employees and easier for managers to review.

Raise a request to complete the day.
I finished at 6 pm and forgot to check out before leaving.
Clarity begins with the everyday.
Today is clear. The month is there when you need it.
The everyday action should be easy to find. Employees can clock in and out, then look back through their monthly attendance when they need the bigger picture.
- Clock in and out from your attendance view
- Explore the month and inspect individual days
- Find your pending and past requests
A missed check-out needs a conversation, not a mystery.
Sometimes the record needs a second look. Employees can raise a correction request with the relevant date and context, then follow it through review.
Approval changes how the day is counted. Correcting actual check-in times is a separate action for authorized reviewers.
- Raise a request for the day that needs attention
- Explain why the day should be counted
- Follow the decision through the request status
Set the working pattern. Give the records context.
A day only makes sense against the schedule around it. Configure shifts, assign people, and maintain holiday calendars to reflect how your team works.
Workspace settings and grace windows determine when people can request changes. Approved leave can also update daily records, with conflicts reviewed as needed.
- Configure shifts and employee assignments
- Manage holiday calendars and attendance settings
- Review team attendance and exceptions

Explore plans & accessWhat can employees do in attendance?
Employees can clock in and out, review their monthly attendance, inspect individual days, raise requests, and follow request status. The experience brings today’s check-in, the month, and requests into the same attendance area.
How are missing or incorrect records handled?
Employees can ask for a day to be counted, choosing a reason such as working from home, being on duty elsewhere, or forgetting to check in or out. An authorized reviewer handles the request. This updates the day’s status; correcting actual check-in times is a separate authorized action. Request windows depend on workspace settings.
Can we manage different shifts?
Yes. Attendance setup includes shift configuration and employee assignments, alongside holiday calendars and attendance settings. A demo can walk through the working patterns your organization needs.
Can managers review team attendance?
Yes. Authorized managers and administrators have team attendance views with filters and exception information. They can inspect the records they have permission to access and use the review workflow when action is needed.
How does attendance relate to leave and payroll?
Approved leave can update attendance records, though conflicts may need review. Payroll uses leave or attendance data according to your payroll setup. Attendance does not automatically issue salary payments or determine a person’s Reputation score.
Is attendance available on our plan?
Attendance is included across the current standard plans. Permissions, shifts, calendars, and workspace settings shape what each person can do. Confirm current plan access and setup with the Pulsewise team during your demo.
