A person. A role. A place in the team.

A growing team should still feel easy to know.

Start with a name. Find the context.

A directory is more useful when it tells you where someone belongs. Search for a person, narrow the list by department, and open the record behind the row.

Managers can use My team to see their reports. Directory and record access follows workspace permissions.

  • Search people and filter by department
  • Review employment type, work mode, and status
  • Open individual records from the directory

Put the organization into perspective.

Names on a list only tell part of the story. An org chart makes reporting relationships visible, so you can understand the people around a role.

  • Explore the organization through its reporting lines
  • See managers and their teams
  • Maintain manager assignments with the right permissions

The everyday details deserve a proper home.

A job title, a joining date, a change in department. Keep the employment details that HR needs with the person they belong to.

Authorized administrators can maintain employee IDs, employment type, work mode, location, and department. Separate permissions control who can view and edit records.

  • Keep job and employment information together
  • Maintain departments and employee identifiers
  • Manage updates through permission-controlled actions

What is included in People & HR?

The People experience includes a directory, individual people records, a My team view, and an org chart. The wider People & HR area also includes leave, attendance, and approvals. Available views and actions depend on your role, workspace permissions, and setup.

Can everyone see the full people directory?

Directory and record access is permission-controlled. HR administrators need permission to view the workspace’s people list; managers have a My team view limited to their reports. A demo can show the access appropriate for your employees, managers, and HR team.

Which employee details can HR maintain?

Authorized users can maintain details including job title, employee ID, joining date, employment type, work mode, location, and department. Manager assignments and other administrative actions have their own permissions.

How does the org chart work?

The org chart shows the organization through its reporting relationships. You can explore the structure and inspect people in context. Keeping manager assignments current helps the chart reflect the team as it changes.

Can we add people to an existing workspace?

Authorized administrators can add users and manage invitations within the workspace’s seat limit. You can sign up directly and verify your email to create a new Pulsewise account. We can walk through the right setup for your organization in a demo.

Do people records determine health or Reputation scores?

Employment records and reporting relationships provide organizational context. Workspace Health is informed by pulse and mood responses, while Reputation uses contribution evidence. Leave, attendance, and ordinary HR records support day-to-day operations; they do not feed these scores.
